Elegant Interiors worked on the sympathetic renovation of this 1970s Provençal villa in Cannes, South of France, providing a full interior design service alongside collaboration on the exterior spaces. The design retained the property's distinctive stonework, wrought iron and architectural character while introducing a more relaxed contemporary interior. Our involvement included creative space planning, kitchen redesign, paint and floor finishes, fabric schemes and furniture selection. The project extended outside to the terraces, outdoor kitchen, dining areas and swimming pool, working in collaboration with a garden designer to create a natural connection between the interior, exterior and the villa's views towards the mountains and sea.
Nestled in the picturesque South of France, this Provençal villa offers breathtaking vistas of both the majestic mountains and the tranquil sea. Constructed in the 1970s by a local architect, who made it his personal residence, the villa bore a distinctive architectural character defined by the extensive use of natural stone and wrought iron. Its crowning jewel, the grand curved entrance steps, exuded sophistication and luxury. Elegant Interiors delicately restored the property, focusing on elegance, functionality, and the integration of modern elements, all while preserving its charming Provençal features.
